Merry Christmas! One of my childhood memories - likely 6yo and under - is getting up Christmas morning and going to my parents bedroom with my brother to wait there with mom, until my dad came back into the house after he got done milking the cows - that had to be done before any present opening. Waiting and waiting! I am sure that when I was 7 - old enough to help with the milking, we were all out in the barn before presents could be opened.
