Honestly, it never struck me to sit down and not jump. I never had problems jumping, but the idea of sitting down is just...bizarre. I do remember a CWO on one jump telling me that he was pushing our stick out, whether we liked it or not, but that was because we were trying to cram 11 guys into an 8 second window (Chinook).
