I was able to wean my daughters off their Zyrtec by diffusing this trio and using it topically as needed. We noticed as they were coming off the Zyrtec they had "withdrawl" itching. It was crazy!

Thieves is one of my favorite immune boosters. We use this one on our feet nightly and diffuse it.

Emma, Thieves is one of my favorite oils to help boost the immune system. We rub it on our feet and spines nightly as well as diffuse it.

My daughters both have severe allergies and asthma. We like lemon, lavender and peppermint together and Breathe Again and RC are also favorites to help with wheezing.

Thieves is one of my favorites for cold symptoms. Purification works really well for ear aches, rubbed outside the ear and down the lymph nodes on the neck.

We've been using lavender, lemon and peppermint to help with allergy-induced asthma. Other favorites of ours are Breathe Again and R.C.

Some options to look into depending on what she's dealing with: lemon, peppermint and Di-Gize.

There are several great options for sleep. In the starter kit, I like to make a sleep cream with coconut oil, lavender and peace & calming. I also add Cedarwood and Valor.

That's one of my favorite ways to use oils for stress - two of my favorites for anxiety are Valor and Stress Away. If I need a pick-me-up, I like Citrus Fresh or Joy.

Happy December, friends! It's Jill Cornell here with you today to share a festive layout with the December Documented collection. My daughters created a gingerbread house with my mom and me last year and I had not yet documented our time together. I found a fun circle cut in the Silhouette online store and cut it out with a sheet of green patterned paper from the Simple Basics collection. Then I went to town embellishing! I decorated the circle cut with a combination of patterned paper circles, stickers, brads and sequins. I also added a few splashes of green mist... Continue reading

Happy Saturday! It's Jill Cornell here with you today to share a layout using the brand new Daily Grind collection. I love how easy it is to capture everyday moments with this collection. I was inspired to scrapbook about our morning routine. My daughters are 4 years old and I know that our morning routine has varied greatly over the past 4 years. It certainly doesn't look the same as when they were babies or even 2 years old. So I snapped a couple of photos - I like to get up before them and have a little coffee, check... Continue reading

Hello Simple Stories friends! It's Jill Cornell here with you today to share my "Merry Memories" album with you all. This is a photo-heavy post so sit back and enjoy! I approach the concept of a December Daily album very differently. The thought of creating a page for each day of December stresses me out! And there are some days where we do A LOT especially close to Christmas. So instead, I create my album based on 31 memories during the month of December. I have one page for each memory/tradition and go from there. I created my album using... Continue reading

Happy Friday! It's Jill Cornell here with a couple of Christmas cards to share using the new December Documented collection and templates from Kiwi Lane. On the first card, I used the wavy borders from the Sunnybrook Lane border templates to make a winter scene. I love that cheerful snowman sticker that I tucked into the waves (snow drifts). I tied the chipboard candy canes together with a piece of baker's twine and tucked them in as well. On my second card, I used the Tiny Brackets from Kiwi Lane as a template for the green polka dot patterned paper... Continue reading

Hello, friends! It's Jill Cornell here with you on this beautiful Saturday to share a Smarty Pants collection layout with you. My post today is somewhat bittersweet because it highlights a milestone in my daughters' lives - their first day of preschool. We made a somewhat last minute decision to spend them to preschool and of course, I had to take photos to document their first day. I have a feeling I am going to get a lot of use out of the Smarty Pants collection this year! Oh, my heart! ;) One of my favorite embellishments Simple Stories is... Continue reading

Hello, Simple Stories friends! It's Jill Cornell here to share three layouts with you using the new collections. First up, here is a layout I created using the Say Cheese collection. I love how versatile this collection is and used it to create this layout of my daughters enjoying sparklers this past 4th of July. I also created this layout using the new Smarty Pants collection. My daugthers are not in school yet but we visited an old-fashioned schoolhouse last fall that made me get a lump in my throat when I thought about them being in school. This layout... Hello, Simple Stories friends! It's Jill here today with you to share a couple of layouts that are bursting with summer fun! One of our favorite summer activities is to go to the local splash park and this layout with "I Heart Summer" celebrates our love! Simple Stories makes it easy to create quick and easy layouts - I used a 6 x 12 piece and a 4 x6 card and then embellished here and there with chipboard, stickers and brads. I am a huge fan of the sentiment stickers - they are a great touch to add a little... Continue reading

Good morning! It's Jill here today with a couple of layouts for you. My first layout features the brand NEW I Heart Summer collection. My family loves to fish and this past summer my girls were able to go for the first time with their grandparents. This was our second trip and the girls were catching fish after fish after fish and they were so excited! I pulled out the fish elements in this collection for my layout. One of my favorite products from this release is the new Sn@p Cuts. I used the yellow heart die-cut card on my... Continue reading

Good morning! It's Jill here with a new layout to share with you using some of my favorite Sn@p products and the brand new embellishments (which I love!) Today's layout is all about my daughter Nora and her grandma. No, not either of her grandmas or her great-grandma but her imaginary grandma. Some kiddos have an imaginary friend but Miss Nora has an imaginary grandma. I caught her drawing a picture several weeks ago and asked her who it is was and she quickly answered "me and my gwandma." I knew immediately who she was referring to because she has... Continue reading

Good morning! Jill here with a layout to share using the new Vintage Bliss collection. My girls would go on the merry-go-round over and over again if we let them and we had the opportunity to go on their favorite ride several times last spring and summer. This is one of my favorite photos of them with their daddy on it - I just love their happy faces! I did a little handstitching on this layout with the heart where I added another heart sticker on foam adhesive. And here I split up the chevron block and did some handstitching... Continue reading

Happy Saturday! Jill here to share a layout with you using the brand new "Vintage Bliss" collection. The soft colors are great for spring photos as well as the girls in your life. My layout features one of my daughters and some of my favorite things about her at the age of 3-1/2. Every so often I love to create layouts like this one that focus on particular areas of growth and development or personality traits. I always like to layer my favorite patterned papers and that polka dot pink is too cute and matched the flowers on her dress.... Continue reading
