Sometimes sitting down and looking is better than walking and looking. Thanks.

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I think it’s really important that people can make a connection with the art that they see. When we travel my wife and I go through a lot of galleries and art that is pleasing to me makes a deep connection within. Have a great summer and thanks for visiting my blog. It means a lot.

Thanks for your kind comments and I believe that Yosemite should be on everyone's bucket list. It was my second visit and I still want my wife to see the park as well. Enjoy the new year.

I'm always grateful for having retired to the lakes area after a life of farming. The lakes area has enough beauty to keep any photographer busy for a lifetime. Thanks for posting a comment and have a beautiful Christmas and a 2019. Where does time go?

I've had those same "accidents" happen to me, especially when I was still farming. After retirement I found that the more I used my camera, edited images, read photography articles, the less "opps" type of things happen...although they still can happen. Thanks for your comments and for visiting my blog.

Thanks, Merle. We've been working on this idea for several months and I'm so happy that this took place. Like you I think this will be a good fit and a positive idea for the Pearson Lakes Art Center.

You're right; a great summer for sky shooting. I've always said that Iowa looks it's best in the summer with crops growing, beautiful cloud filled skies and the occasional rainbow. Thanks for your post and for following my blog.
