I know the feeling of living with one who is tidier.. You would think that mr surface tidy (him) would be a perfect match with miss inside tidy (me) but NOOOO. We have seriously been to counselling over this. Funny what works isn't it. We muddle through though. And I miss C4 tv shows... I could be normal and have Pay TV in Oz but we don't - so I have to go onto the web and check it out! seeya shauny

Great idea: 2 years (2006): Wait for the right job offer and then you can leave the crap job and be MUCH happier. Stop stressing about getting pregnant - it will happen faster than you think. 5 years (2003): Stop stressing about the wedding - it may never happen (didn't). Buy the house - you will not regret it. 10 years (1998): Take a change on the cute scottish guy who chatted you up in that dodgy pub in London - it might just work out (10 yr anniversary today!) 15 years (1993): Just get on and finish the degree and stop worrying about all the extra curricular stuff (still haven't finished the degree) Puts things in perspective!

WooooHooo! Fantastic. I love my boots, it took me ages to wear them (years of tennis may have ruined all joints below the hip but my calves are not too crap)and now I love them, especially with a knee lenght boot. That shop and fitting room look great - I was salivating at the computer. I am also wearing my personal favourite mock-bikers today. In Sydney. In November. Cos its freakin'17 degrees and I need to wear boots to avoid the puddles. Photies please!

I always found that Next (although admittedly a bit dull) good for normal calves. I still roll them out each winter - 7 years on.

Wow - good choice! Once you go to dresses, there is no turning back. Good stuff about dresses: * one thing to put on in the morning * the top always matches the bottom * if you get a decent cut - it can slink away and bumps * summer and winter (just add tights or even a pair of jeans/trousers underneath * some funky jewellery/scarf/jackets can dress up/down as required * knee length boots look great with them. I went dress mad when I lived in london for 5 years and although I am a size 16/18 (Aus) I can easily find a flattering dress (especially wrap dresses) for work, handing around or formal stuff. The shops I loved in the UK for dresses were: * H&M (ahh fond memories) * Dorothy Perkins * Principles Wait till you discover knee length A-Line skirts! Its a lovely journey, becoming a girl!

Hiya, The mere mention of Red magazine has made me all nostalgic for a monthly mag that has a good balance of fashion, health and gossip without telling you that: a) you need to work in fasion to be interesting b) you need to be a size 10 otherwise you wont be interesting c) whilst you are buying the prada bag, make sure you are also doing your bit for the environment d) preferabley be size 10 and work in fashion... I will just have to buy them 3 months out from here. Well done on the progress - I am a "pussycat" reader that has lurked. You have inspired me to get off my ever expanding but and take some accountability for it. Also I have a report due for uni that I am procrastinating about!
