Thank you for highlighting such an important - and often overlooked - sub-genre of SciFi. I've been reading a lot of speculative fiction by Black authors lately so I can't wait to take down some titles from here (I already have the Deep on hold). I would also recommend reading Who Fears Death by Nnedi Okorafor. It was phenomenal!
