I hear Al Gore has a cool $500 million laying around now...
Fisher gets Gordon Gecko'd
Which means its for sale. It's been for sale for some time considering the drain that Fisher Plaza did to their bottom line. The local owners of KOMO TV-Radio (KING FM managed)and other broadcasting properties announced today that Fisher through it's board "has decided to explore and evaluate...
I just bought another Sirius/XM radio for the house. Let CBS Radio become more irrelevant than they already are.
AM1090 never really had a chance competing with the other local talk radio stations. They had no local programming save for a garden show and Crash Talk on Saturdays.
In the last six months or so I have tuned into KIRO FM in the afternoon to listen to the Ron and Don Show -- because

She has no chance of winning, nor do I think she really wants to win. But running can only increase her brand value, and that is really the bottom line for Sarah.
At the end of the day, it is all about the money.
Rove/maddow consensus: palin will run
It's counter-intuitive and a little amazing: Karl Rove and Rachel Maddow agree: Sarah Palin will run for president in 2012. Rachel tweeted last week: “Why is it political common wisdom that Gov Palin is not running? What’s her new Iowa ad for, if not for a campaign?” Rachel has voiced her view ...
