The process of coming out is hard enough in most cases and you took on the additional responsibility of working in "that biz." No one can define you, but you. All of us have moments of self realization that actions and events from our past are seen either as a mistake or a gift that has made us who we are. The choice is sometimes hard and drawn out, but I, personally, prefer a gift. Congratulations on reaching one of those moments of clarity. May it serve you well in the future! Bravo!

Having enjoyed Dixie Carter's work over the years on Broadway, in film, television and cabaret, I mourn her passing. Thanks for reminding us that Julia Sugarbaker will live forever. db

Not Bad! IMHO it could stand a little less stuff and a little more Will Clark. Or should that be a lot more of Will Clark!

At Last, I'm not the first one to make a comment! Well said, Mr. Clark. I've always been of the opinion that if I don't like your ______ (you fill in the blank), I will take my business somewhere else. I choose the businesses I support and the events that I attend based on that. Anyone who feels that Chuck Renslow and IML is "running their lives" needs a serious reality check. The last time I checked one of the major prerequisites for playing the games we play is that we are consenting ADULTS. The operative word in that sentence is ADULT, as in one responsible for making their own decisions. Chuck Renslow made his decision to ban a certain product and is willing to accept the result. Why does your friend feel that Chuck's decision is "running" his life? Does he feel that Check is involved with other aspects of his life? Your friend needs to Man Up and accept responsibility for his own decisions. As an Adult "Daddy, Chuck is being mean to me" just doesn't cut it.

You're right about the ads on the Olympic coverage. The snowball fight from Coke is brilliant. If you watch at all during prime time, there is one for Proctor & Gamble with kids that is equally creative. You nailed k.d.lang! She and Wayne Newton are becoming the same person although his voice is higher. Another highlight of the opening was the whales swimming across the stage, spouting. On the hot man watch - there is a German curler (yes curler) that will definitely make for pleasant dreams.

And why are we so stressy/grumpy? This week's entries make me want to travel to NYC just to visit the snow. or go to Porno Bingo and play with you. Snow in New York seems so much more civilized than rain in LA... The roommate issue is a bitch, but will resolve itself. Enjoy your 24 hours of escape and stay away from wells. I look forward to your next post

If Conan had been this funny for the past seven months, the whole thing would be a dead issue. As Jay said last night, shows without ratings get canceled, Fact of TV life. Conan know this as much as Jay. Seven months is longer than most shows get to find their audience. Conan took a first place show and brought it up to second and sometimes third place in the seven months. Unfortunately, he talent and humor didn't cut it at 11:35 any more than Jay's did at 10:00. Did the suits at NBC handle this badly? Calling them stupid, gives stupid people a bad name. Bottom line - Television is a business. The business makes money from advertisers and advertisers pay based on ratings and market coverage. If you don't produce, goodbye. Poor, pitiful Conan should man up, take his money, and go off with all of the other failed NBC shows. I don't have a lot of sympathy for some one getting $40M for his failure.

You can send me all the videos you want and I'll give them a good viewing (even with your clothes on, if you must)
