Oh my goodness. How is it that my 8 year old son picked it up so quickly, but me, with a masters in math, can't figure it out?? It always seems to me like they're making the rules up on the fly. Confounded, indeed!!

Made it through the first full week of school. Hooray! Now I get to spend the holiday weekend trying to learn this confounded game.
So just wondering....were there originally going to be 25 projects? Dare I dream that you might save the 25th for another book? :)

Melanie posted some of the other possible covers for our book over on the STC blog. Super fun! I don't think I'd even seen some of those. This blue one is cute! We were rooting for the one with the girl but I do love the one they chose. Really with Jen Gotch's gorgeous photos it'd be impossible ...
