I have been in the "show world" for 30+ years,and Im also completely dismayed at what GSD people are doing to this breed, so please do not put all us "Breeders" in the same category! First and foremost a shepherding dog needs to be sound in body so he can do the job he was bred to do, I do not understand why Judges are rewarding these obviously unsound dogs, it is one of the mysteries of dog showing. All in persuit of a ribbon, so very very sad :o(
