First of all, I wanted to thank you for the really nice shout-out over on the sidebar. :) Second of all, I totallky get where you're coming from. I think Tim's anger was inappropriately directed at us, weight loss surgery patients. His real beef (heh) is with the Food and Drug Administration and big media. I have to give him credit, he did post after the show on my wall and said that he had learned something through the interview, so that made me happy to hear. I think the more we talk about, the more we can educate people. YOU, my dear, were AWESOME! :)

I loooooooove spaghetti squash! I made it for the kids as a subsitute for actual pasta and GASP! SUPRISE! they LIKED IT. :)

I've heard that Botox is often prescribed for migraine headaches, and that some women claim that so that they can get their forehead wrinkles ironed out. I'll just stick with the Peptiage! Let me know how you like the products if you end up trying any of them. :)

If anyone understands this, it's me. I have left side front and back abdominal pain, and it's CONSTANT. I can't be on any type of narcotics, because I could very easily get hooked. Most medications don't work for me, and I almost always have to double up on what's perscribed for even a teeny tiny bit of relief. Tramadol (non-narcotic) is the only thing that works for me and doesn't make me sick to my stomach. It's frustrating. You KNOW there's something wrong. For me, it's always my kidney, but because it's no longer wrapped in a hematoma like it was for a good year and a half, people just assume I'm better. I just spent a day with my kidney specialists, and now I get to go get more catscans because I officially have more stones, and ecoli, and probably something equally as awesome. Then I get to get a big ol' scope up into my whoo ha, because there's now a possibility of giant fibroids in my girly parts. Fantastic. Chronic pain. Every day. And because it's not visible to the outside world, they don't understand it, or how much it can mess with your disposition, outlook, and day to day life. Regardless of whether or not is WLS related, pain can totally interrupt your life in so many ways, and you can only be so sunny in the midst of it. I TOTALLY GET IT. Feel better, my friend.
