In most cases of movie adaptations, books still turn out good as compared to the film. The film could not match up to the book, in no way. I expected that. That's the reason I enjoyed the movie the different way...
Thanx for the comment about it :)
OMG! That's so cruel! I can understand why the Roman Catholic Church is not sanctioning this kind of activity...

Paete's Holy Week rituals. Ang Birhen Mater Dolorosa. Paete’s image of Mater Dolorosa is unique. The statue can move by an ingenious system of strings. The original system of strings is not in use anymore because it was found too difficult to operate. It was replaced by a system that is much ...

Paete's Holy Week rituals. Palm Sunday. Palm Sunday starts with the re-enactment of Christ's triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The short procession starts at the Ermita Chapel where the priest blesses the palaspas (palm branch) of the faithful. The participants then slowly move to the church as...

Paete's Holy Week rituals. Pagpaligo ng Mahal na Señor (washing the statue of Jesus) and the pagsusuob (burning of incense). Paete's most spectacular celebrations take place during Holy Week, beginning on the Friday before Palm Sunday. I credit my friend Estan Cabigas for bringing to my attenti...

casual carpool, serendipity and radovan karadzic
"[Casual carpool](http://www.ridenow.org/carpool/)" is one of those (sub)urban fabric things that makes life in the Bay Area go 'round...and occasionally makes it just a bit more interesting. Every morning commuters gather at one of a couple dozen sites in the East Bay, matching up drivers with p...

Site Redesign - What do you think?
So after a couple of weeks of contemplating and one full day of editing the site redesign is almost complete. Let me know if you find any bugs. The main changes are: Got rid of many of the widgets from the top page. Much lighter, cleaner and faster to load now. Creating pages with articles, l...
Hi Andrew,
I can see we almost have the same strategy in managing digital photos. I'm also using Irfanview to view files in folders. While Windows XP is capable of viewing photos in the folder, Windows 2000 is not (of which I'm stuck to date).
While Windows Vista is already here, it's not for everyone. I mean, at least, me (who can't afford it's market price).
I'm also using Adobe Photoshop CS2 for photo editing but never had the chance using other photo editing software as they are way too expensive...
Image recognition technology is not far from impossible. In fact, I'm writing a review about the face recognition technology of MyHeritage.com. It will be up very soon. Well, that's a different with what you were tackling here but as far as image recognition is concern, the technology parallel with each other...
Good luck for now and thanx for sharing...
Managing Digital Photos
Managing digital photos ... I don't know about you but it seems much harder than it should be. Another thing I'd been playing with for a few years but never found a solution I'm happy with. So here's what do I want to do: Assign keywords to photos and and be able to filter using them Still have...
