This is how lethal plastic is to coral reefs, the billions of floating plastic debris increase the vulnerability of corals infected and dying this way by 89 per cent when compared to rare areas of coral where there is no plastic debris. The Great Pacific Garbage Patch Plastic is now the size of Texas and getting larger at 0.4% to 8% of the size of the Pacific Ocean, that is 700,000 square kilometres or 270,000 square miles to more than 15,000,000 square kilometres (5,800,000 square miles). Fifty million indigenous people live in the world’s remaining forests and 370 million Indigenous people live in various different threatened wildernesses and ecological biomes across the world. We need to take into consideration their defence treaties for the last natural wildernesses that they occupy on the Earth. I have found that working on conservation of the land with indigenous people involves dealing with many of the front line issues that the larger established charities, governments and academic institutes know little about. One common example in the Amazonia regions of South America, is the ongoing internalized governmental corruption where some government... Continue reading

Photo copyright-Marcelo Camerago The UN defines genocide as "any of the acts perpetrated with the intention of destroying, in whole or in part, a national, ethnic, racial or religious group." But the classification of such crimes as genocide or not is partly a matter of the number of victims. While the genocides of Rwanda or Bosnia received global attention, many others that take place outside the visual field of public opinion, especially on the Latin American continent. These are neither investigated nor recognized because they involve rural villages of a few hundred, or even a few dozen people. Although the... Continue reading

Between August 2017 and July 2018 some 7,900 square kilometres of forest were logged in the Brazilian Amazon, the worst annual rate of deforestation in a decade, according to official government data. This represents an increase of 13.7% over the same period last year.Greenpeace Brazil pointed out, approximately 1,185 million trees were felled in an area equivalent to the size of 987,500 football fields. This worrying news comes amid fears that the new far right president of Brazil, Jair Bolsonaro, may worsen the situation due to his promise to open more the Amazon to the development of the timber industry, in addition to his public hatred of indigenous people, specifically the Kawahivas people who are on the edge of extinction. First this year, the US Sanctions were on Gold in Venezuela, amid the financial and humanitarian crisis, where Venezuelans have been forced to flee the country for years without international help or intervention after financial and governmental collapse. Now, the US is stepping in, starting with sanctions on gold and this week, US sanctions are on oil and finally, de-recognition of Maduro as president and Trump's coronation of Guaido as Venezuelan president - Al Capone redux .This is a geopolitical tactical move that will also affect China, Venezuela has for decades been the largest exporter of oil even though it's a small country in South America. The Convention on Biological Diversity states that the Amazon contains more than 50 percent of the world’s plant and animal species. We must not discount the value of its undiscovered secrets for medical science and for humankind, as already, people are discovering plant-based cures for cancer that come from rainforest plants, there are over 60,000 plant species in the Amazon and only 3 percent have been studied for medicinal properties. Many of our foods come from the rainforest along with other important materials. There are thousands of undiscovered species of plants and animals still in existence, but we are destroying them at a pace which is faster than we are discovering them. Therefore, everyone’s opinion and actions are relevant and play on important role in defending this key ecosystem, as its devastation will be the devastation of all of us if we do not step in to defend what remains of the Amazon Rainforest. Solar radiation management, stratospheric albedo modification, stratospheric sulphate aerosols, stratospheric aerosol injection, aerosol geoegineering, or are they just contrails or chemtrails? The practice of sun obscuration using planes that spray an aerosol mixture into the atmosphere, which after twenty minutes or so spreads out over vast areas of sky. The official agenda behind spraying aerosol particles into the atmosphere is to cool the planet down. That’s for those who believe the official story in global warming and not for those that have intimately looked at and analysed the data from the Vostock Ice cores which is available from the World... The alternative energy industry, especially the solar industry has grown exponentially since 2010 into being worth £170 billion pounds globally. This industry is now contributing to economic development. Utility companies have been threatened by the growth of the alternative energy industry and this has escalated into trade and policy conflicts in countless examples globally, with serious economic and political consequences. Countries have been developing the use of protectionist policies to encourage domestic manufacturing for alternative energy opening opportunities for foreign entry into domestic markets. However, not all countries are well positioned to become competitive exporters or importers of the same... Continue reading

Consumer zombie- Artist Aeryn James Davies, Ravanna Governments have built values around material wealth, not ecological wealth and the only way to save ourselves and the planet is by putting financial value on ecological wealth, as it is usually invisible or an abstract concept, in terms of human understanding of how much work and production goes on in nature, that we pay no attention to, let alone the way in which what we do affects the mechanisms of nature or ecosystems. Our anthropogenic impact, the effects of how we live, has deeply affected nature to a level where environmental scientists... Continue reading

While the world is on terrorism alert and certain countries are trying hard to foster a political climate for World War III via Machiavellian tactics, while Paris is gearing up for the COP21 Climate talks and unbeknown to most, there will be a global Carbon Tax implimented as a result of these talks, because governments and banks gain around 33 trillion a year from trading carbon and taxing emissions. This system does not remedy the root of the problem, while the emphasis is on emissions instead of consumption of Oil. The root cause to these critical environmental problems are blatently... Until we have more people taking the responsibility to collect further scientific data and sample readings globally, we cannot formulate the scope of this environmental damage but we have a glimpse into it and it is not comforting. With all these issues to consider we are still left theorizing over how much power the elite have with weather manipulation but it is becoming clear that it is used as a political and economic control tool in the same way that earthquakes are used to destabilize a country and to exterminate populations if the country is not in favour with the oligarch agendas. We are witnessing the human relationship with and our perception of reality change, as more and more people are beginning to become aware of their subconscious capability to manifest our reality. This is the ecological relationship of the Noosphere to the Biosphere, the effect of global human thought (consciousness) on the Planet, the Noospheric climate affects the ecology of all life on Planet Earth. What we experience in life’s unfolding day to day events to some extent are being shaped by our subconscious minds, it may be in the form of your worst fears, or your most hoped for dreams, your frustrations or something that completely surprises you but that may symbolize something you need to pay attention to. Life can feel like that when you become aware of the mind relationship to matter, obviously environmental factors and external events are not things we can fully control. Continue reading

Free Energy is the only solution to ending the destruction of our environment, there are already many advanced solutions in the form of alternative technologies, solutions that should have been available to humanity a long time ago, and yet these are conveniently overlooked by global decision makers, which leads to the simple question “why?” - to protect the oligarchy and their precious monopolies being the obvious answer, however it appears their days are numbered as the ruling monopoly as progress and demand of clean energy technologies are pushing through the adverse barriers set before them because we the people are waking up and demanding cleaner energy. The shift in consciousness is taking place and nothing can stop it unfolding. Continue reading

Ecological ignorance is good for business, yet business can only last so long while the environment is falling apart around us, everything we do relies on ecology and ecosystems, and we cannot continue to ignore this fact. Ecological illiteracy in government and society is one of the worst things that has happened to Earth and to us, for humanity to become so disconnected to ignorantly treat nature as separate from itself. The Caring Human is in Danger of Extinction. Continue reading

Become the author of your own world and words, write your own story. Let us look at this word ''authority'' (n.) Traced back to early 13th century, derived from autorite of a book or quotation that settles an argument, from Old French auctorité meaning permission, the Scriptures 12th century; Modern French autorité, from Latin- auctoritatem (nominative auctoritas) "invention, advice, opinion-from auctor "master, leader, author. Meaning "power to enforce obedience" is from late 14c.; meaning "people in authority" is from 1610s. So, basically to break the word authority which casts a spell on humanity, let us break this illusion down, authority... Continue reading

While people go about their daily lives, the Earth is suffering a Silent Ecocide, what is ecocide? Ecocide is an environmental version of genocide, species extinction and vast areas of wilderness and oceans are rapidly being destroyed, ecosystems are already damaged beyond tipping point.
