I will take your advice I think. I am a graduate and therefore unemployed. It would be interesting to get this kind of experience.

I am 21 and I recently joined the conservatives because I believe they hold the same values as myself (more or less). Perhaps somebody can tell me what all the fuss is about. I don't understand why armies of volunteers are needed anyway. Don't say delivering leaflets. The only time I have ever read a leaflet which was pushed through my letter box has been when I wanted to find the number to order a curry. Maybe I am young and naive but it seems that relationships can be built between organisations and large groups of people through social media. This guy describes how social media can work in a business context but it is well suited to delivering a political message. http://www.baekdal.com/insights/social-media-starting-early-and-taking-risks Although human contact cannot be fully replaced by computers I think it could conveniently help to connect people, especially young people. Incidentally, I spent 18 years of my life living in Doncaster and every young person I knew with any interest in politics tended towards right wing libertarianism.
