squeezing it all in
"Are you excited to be moving back to Texas?" the voice on the other end of the phone asked yesterday. I totally lied and said yes. Truth is, I have mixed feelings about moving. I'm sure most people do. There are plenty of negatives, but today I am choosing to... Continue reading

week 5 of 52
(week 2) I've been clicking along with my 52 of You project. This is week 5 and our assignment is to get out in the dark, to play with light sources like christmas lights and glow sticks, etc. Its a tough one...a real challenge. By the time I get everyone into bed at night and start to think...

Ready

You crack me up...I can't watch scary movies either. So good to hear your voice.

Yesterday, I went for a walk in the forrest with my Mosey + Pold friends. I have come to really love these walks. Its not hard to imagine talking and walking. I have a little running dialog in my head of things we notice as we walk. Like the lovely... Continue reading

at the table
{I've been thinking a lot about this table of mine. Thinking about all that happens on and around it, and how it truly is a center for our family life. How the things upon it are so reflective of who and where are at any given moment. And so, perhaps, I think a photo series was born...} ...

texas seeping in
I love how we bring things in and out of our lives depending on where we've been, who we've run into along the way. We returned from our Texas trip a few weeks ago now. And its become sort of a "thing" to have to mail a box...ahem, or two...back with all of our treasures. This week our box ar...
Heaven...one of my first jobs when I was 17 was working for a flower shop similar to some of your photos here. Thanks so much for taking me back. So lovely. Love to the Soules!
a morning at FLORA*BLISS
It is such a treat to watch people doing their thing, isn't it? When they can make magic happen with their ideas and their hands, their dreams and plans? It's been such a pleasure watching the flowers grow - literally and figuratively - at the farm of my friend Stacy Brenner. On a morning last w...
