Awesomeness trapped in amber. How eerily fascinating the whole art imitating life thing can be. Hey, I wonder, does anyone here remember Jerry's TV series when he was younger. It was called "My Secret Identity", and sort of had him as a young super powered tween/teen. Judging from how he looked, I would guess that it would have taken place a little after the movie(late 80's perhaps?).

Reminds me. One of these days I have to remember to pick the T-shirt that states "and then buffy staked edward. the end". BTVS had its angsty teen moments, but was never anywhere near as insipid as Twighlight. Clever, snappy dialogue was its calling card. Dumb on down, you're the next contestant on the price is shite!

Oban... sweet, sweet nectar of the Scots. Gives this lad chills to reflect on how it lovingly warms the sub cockles and instills purposeful haze.

Spider Jerusalem has got to make it to the big screen one of these days. Wonder who would be the contenders for that role?

Speaking of the 40th anno of Trek, has anyone here checked out the "Star Trek Enhanced" bit that is/was on You Tube lately? They made the visual effects a bit more realistic looking without overly clashing with the cardboard charm of the 60's sets(I think, anyway). What's the concensus? Be it blessing or be it folly?

Nevada to Cali is what, one or two time zones? Whoa dude, I'd hate to encounter your wrath after a European jet-lag/internal clock reset. In my mind I'm superimposing your head on Nicholson's body in that scene from The Shining where Jack has just axed his way through that door.

Ah Montreal. She's a little taste of Europe on North American soil that rather a lot of us Canadians take for granted. Savor and enjoy, if your schedule permits Wil. I leave you with my current net fave, www.askaninja.com -we loves it!

Completely off topic here but check out wonkette's blog. There is a cute bit that says Wil is an evil cyborg from the past. Worth a chuck or two.

Hey Wil, i've continued jumping from the old site to your present exile on main street and am wondering if i should finally bookmark this one and let go the line on the previous...? Might be a sore spot wit choo and i don't mean to pick at anything still healing. Or festering, canker-like.

Re the sweater of our discontent: "down here we all float!" Nothing warms my heart like an evil clown at a former pagan festival now co-opted by upstarts time of the year. Or Guiness... that has that old black magic too.
