my little autistic boy is a real rascal. he like to run away and thought its a game. i will shout at him and he'll stop. sometimes he pretend not to hear.
while walking with him he'll also like to break free and run off. i dunno. most autistic kids are like that. very stubborn and have a mind of their own. when they are frightened, hard to control them. no sense of danger at all.
must always keep an eye on them. next moment disappeared.
Slowly settling down again

training ur daughter not to run away from you will be the best insurance.
i know she may be overwhelmed by the noise at an mrt station and thus run away.
it is possible to train them.
