Tim, I agree that we need to pay attention to the words and language we use. But "outsiders" is not one of them when used properly. The Bible speaks of those outside the faith several times. Andy Stanley has used this phrase very effectively and woven it into the culture of his church. Nobody like to be labeled. So, what terms do you use for those who are not believers? I think there are a lot of church leaders who are sensitive to this but have trouble with it.
