I know exactly what you are talking about Squish... I am blessed enough that the people I know that do that, are only trying to be funny when they do it. I find I am extremely irritated when people use it as a sort of primary language. I don't have time to watch our language degenerate any faster, so I move on to more meaningful conversations with people I can understand.

I am not sure if necessarily my blog is loading without a design. However, I am new to TypePad. I have categories for my blog: http://doppelgangers.typepad.com/blog/ However, after publishing... I see no real way of seeing my categories without going just to the home page, and looking at the bottom of a post, and picking for example: Growing Up. Is this how it is supposed to be? Or am I missing something. Also, when I put my name in my profile, it changes my username to my real name which I don't want. The only fix I found for it was to remove my name from my profile. Can someone please help?

I am glad you recovered well, I can't imagine the experience to go BACK to the hospital.... (Wasn't I just there?!) Being an Identical Twin with one of the Betties, I would like to say... I really hope they don't have Irish Twins. I love my nephew, but I don't know if I can handle two already! Also, keep an eye on Tuesday... I have heard stories about other single surviving twins that are sometimes, depressed I guess... or they imagine their twin, and having conversations. This is totally normal. If you find yourself wondering where to go, just ask! Aspenn should be able to help you find more information if this happens.

Do you ever see some of the kids antics and think about writing them down for a comic strip? That is the best for me... Though I must confess for now, my babies are a dog and a cat.

Wow, and I thought babies weren't supposed to get solids till closer to 6 months old. This does make me think about a story from my mother.... She would take her 3 children to McDonald's and my brother (2 years older) would get his own "Happy Meal"... he was after all, the big boy. While my sister and I would share one. I got the burger, while my twin got the fries. The fun part was trying to get the extra toy when she only needed two meals. o.O

This just makes me wish my nephew was a niece. <3 Too cute! Looking forward to more from DIY Betty.

Crysanna, I am glad you posted this too. While I have never smoked, I do have friends that do. There are groups like quitline (http://www.quitline.com/). I believe with the right support system, you can quit if you want without having to quit your friends. I hope you find the balance you need. Congratulations on your healthy baby!
