Ah. My kindred spirit. While I'm not ready to start an anti-frisee revolution I agree that it is inedible. I pick it out of "mixed" salads, am dismayed to find it in a dish when it isn't mentioned as a component and have never, ever purchased it. It's up there with the very limited number of foods I won't eat: rabbit, sea cucumbers, chicken feet, pears (I know, I know), frogs legs and frisee. For me it's a combination of the texture, mouth-feel and the bitterness. Bravo for taking a stand! ;) Everyone Into the Kitchen (
