I purchased two tags about two years ago. This is a great item to have stored in the car, with head sets (if you have more than one child). I purchased them for my children, because it reminded me of how I learned to read as a child; which was with the read-with me tape cassettes. My how far have we come :) ~ LOL. Up until now I haven't been fully utilizing the toy and Leap Frog website. Not only can your child get additional help reading when you're not around (putting in those overtime hours, while your child care taker is too overwhelmed to bother . . .); but you can check on how many times they've read the book, their gradelevel, comprehension, strengths and weaknesses. I'd prefer if they looked just like the original hardcovers, or if Leap Frog opted for something of an even greater quality. I believe they have a sophisticated costumer base that doesn't need to be reminded that the book is a Leap Frog item and probably wouldn't mind paying an extra buck or two for more aesthetic books that would be more pleasing on a bookshelf. Besides I believe by omitting the unattractive logos the books would generate a greater buzz without the unnecessary advertisement. The irony of the unnecessary advertisements is a great...
