-Becoming One with "The People," Becoming One with Neytiri -Pure Spirits of the Forest -Shutting Down Grace's Lab -The Destruction of Hometree Some of these are quite emotional tracks (I've cried several times listening to it), but they're also very good. I approve completely of Horner's take on the film. :)

The scenes involving this beauties were probably my favorites. Those, and the night scenes with the bioluminescence of the planet Pandora. I guess a lot of my Ikran love comes from growing up reading Anne McCaffrey's Dragonriders of Pern series; this movie really gives me hope that one day, a decent movie can be made depicting this beloved world of mine. Awesome work on the film, guys. Loved every 3D second of it. Can't wait for a sequel!

The environment in itself was mind blowing, and the 3D just made it that much more immersive. I cried through just about the entire thing, so much so that I cried all my eyeliner off. there were no streaks, just bare eyes. (And I wore a lot of liner that day). The characters are fantastic -- the development is realistic, the visuals are fabulous, and all in all, I'd say it's probably become my favorite... Continue reading
