(This pic was the first day I met Kevin in person in August 2009. My soldier, my hero). In the Summer of 2008 I decided to reach out and support a soldier. Well in August 2008 I received Kevins information. He was stationed in Iraq. In September 2008 I received his first email back. We started corresponding daily and became very close. Endless 1am talks that still mean the world to me. In January 2009 we decided we wanted to meet when he came home. I would have to fly to Fort Hood, Texas from Ohio to see him. In June 2009 he returned home and in August we met. We fell in love. It was a beautiful week together. We started dating and in October 2009 I flew out there again. Falling even more in love with him. The moment of truth came. The shootings at Fort Hood made me realize how much I love him and made me realize I don't know what I'd do if i lost him. We are apart for now because he is now stationed in Hawaii and getting ready to redeploy in June. Being apart from him makes me love the moments I do get with him even more. Kevin I've Loved you since I met you and I can't image my life with you. I look forward to 18 months from now when we can be together again.
