Have to confess though that It's a Wonderful Life is my favourite movie ever (I'm all about the schmaltz!), so sorry, going against you on that one. But in Planes Trains Automobiles the BEST line has to be: "I've got my hands nestled between two pillows....Those aren't pillows". I'm giggling even as I type.

Great post as usual!! I'm with Nicki all the way - and you on the cinena thingy. Sometimes peole might just as well be shining a ruddy torch around their screens are so bright. And I too, remember starting out life as journalist before Twitter, Facebook, smartphones, email, internet, mobile phones even. Hell, my first job used an electric typrwriter - it wasn't even a computer. People get waaaaay too bothered over these things. *checks twitter just in case*

Wow! Tell it like it is! Thank you! I had one of those 'emegency elective c sections: went in for a scan at 34 weeks, was told that a)I had pre-eclmpsia and b) boy twin wasn't growing properly and that they would operate the next morning. It was a very positive experience and I had nothing but good things to say about the team. I am the only one out of my NCT group not to have been asked back to talk about my experience because of the c-section and the fact that I don't feel guilty about having it!
