What is your favorite photo prop? How have you used it to enhance your photos? Signs. I like road signs. Park signs. Names of towns or places. Towns that share our last name or one of the kids names. we've taken side trips just to get a sign, like "Monkey's Eyebrow, KY" ... because we figured no one would believe us without proof. Some signs are unique with two languages. Foreign signs say a lot in a layout, adds local color. Sometimes signs can BE your title on your layout. Signs help me remember WHERE too! ~~andrea fisher 2012 Mosaic Moments Design Team Member

Grade School teachers I Remember... Kindergarten: Mrs. Lunn (when I was injured in a winter playground accident and came to class late, she turned me away at the door because she didn't know me.) Grade 1: Mrs Swords (would invite teachers in to the class and tell me to "say something Scottish" and turn around and threaten speech lessons for pronouncing words "incorrectly" in reading circle) Grade 2: i/2 yr with Mrs Swords again, then on to another teacher who gave me an "A" on a "test" that I actually flunked...this is when we learned I needed glasses (my guess is so did the teacher) Grade 3: Mrs Scherbarth (an older teacher...well in those days they were all old...but one of my absolute favorites, learned the times tables from her and began to love history because of the stories she had us read) Grade 4 Mrs. Rudy (youngest teacher so far...spent the year calling me Adrian...maybe she needed glasses too) Grade 5 for the life of me I can't remember her name, but she was by far the youngest teacher I had, looked like a model, drove a Camero...one of the first Cameros...and she was good. Second half of the year Miss. Grady...old lady...but the first to realize I was having migrain headaches and seated me away from the windows and the light to help me out...what a dear.) Grade 6: Mrs Cheney an older, no non-sense teacher...by far one of the best I ever had. ~~Andrea Fisher 2012 Mosaic Moments Design Team Member

What's big in politics lately? The GOP presidential candidates (and my random thoughts about them): Politics: 1. Don't ask me a question unless you really want an answer. I take it serious. 2. Politics are a "sport" in my home. Everybody learns to "play" so they understand the game when they go to vote for the first time. 3. I have all the current GOP debates recorded, in case you want to watch them and catch up on the positions. 4. We have attended political rallies with our babies in strollers. 5. Studying the Constitution is a required subject in our "school". 6. Just once, I wish my preferred candidate would stay in the race until the Ohio primary. 7. Wish all the primaries were on the same day to eliminate problem of #6, and shorten the the campaign season. 8. Debates with real questions and real answers, not "sound bites". The more the merrier. 9. All current candidates could do the job, some better than others. 10. I want a Constitutional candidate. One with a spine, and iron will to do what is right, one who is a statesman...not a politician....time will tell. ~~andrea fisher Mosaic Moments Design 2012 Team Member
