To all those mothers who will lose sons and daughters in the days ahead, I did not wish this on you. I had hope for a CiC with war experience, who knew how to fight to win. I am so sorry that we instead have a CiC who is more interested in his personal agenda, who wants an easy out. For those new moms, prepare the way for another battle, for this one will be fought again. It may be here at home next time, but it will be fought again. We have not learned the lessons of history and are therefore doomed to repeat it.

Deebow, you have remembered you comrades well, with the honor and the dignity they deserve. As one who has assumed the task of remembrance may God richly bless you and all the others who have a special place in remembering those with whom they have served in the cause of freedom. Thank you.

Personally, I don't think Joe voter gives a rats fuzzy behind about how congress spends money, or doesn't. The Big O was a rock star on election day and is today. We are a nation that does not value its children, why on earth would we value our warriors by supporting them with the equipment and services they need to win a war? Jeeze, mothers have buried their sons for less. Come election day in 2010 and 2012 it will be more of the same. Apathy is rampant. I don't think voters really care. I think if they thought they could, most voters would just stay home. Its easier. Those silly military people signed up to go there so....

Hooweee, ya'll are really looking for the pigs to start flying. While for once, Freidman has a really good idea, finally, this isn't ever going to happen. And Jordan is right again. This is what voters wanted. Being part of the ICC would take away more of our liberty as would signing the CIFTA treaty. The ship is sinking and the CIC is dancing on the deck. Yup voters are getting exactly what they wanted, Ah that old saying, be careful what you wish for you might get it.

And now Sgt Nelson wants to go to Afghanistan with the marines, but oh wait....he has a severe case of PTSD. Duh. And I'm just sure he got good treatment for that while in prison...NOT. Some days I wonder why good men sign up for this. Fortunately PTSD, severe or otherwise is treatable, provided one seeks treatment and it is actually available and consists of more than the VA version of meds and a bandaid. All the best to you Sgt Nelson, sorry your country and your fellow marines sought to poop on your parade rather than honor you for your service.

This is where the voters of this country wanted to go. With Hollywood stars in their eyes and a burning desire for hopey changey the masses decided Bama was the best candidate. Now we are engaged in "come now let us reason together" diplomacy with bullies in the new age of appeasement. We've not learned from history. Hang on folks, its going to be a bumpy ride, blissfully, intentionally chosen by voters everywhere.

I learned first hand the importance of humint in a basic E and E course. Most people don't know or appreciate that good human intelligence is the difference between life and death for those who are working on the front lines. There are people I care about in harms way and I'm really ticked at this administration for playing political roulette with my guys. Fish or cut bait boys.
