I love shopping. Can't lie about that. I don't always buy stuff when I go shopping. Sometimes I'm simply looking for inspiration. And I found it on a recent trip to New York City. One of my favorite places to go for inspiration is ABC Home. The colors, the patterns, the displays, the motifs...I could linger for hours. As you can see from the price tag, things at ABC Home aren't cheap. I'm thinking some plain white cups and some stamps from my stash could emulate these cups for a lot less money! There really are so many cool things... Continue »

It's no secret that I love and adore spray ink of any kind. But, my first love was Glimmer Mist by Tattered Angels. Old packaging on the left and the newer packaging on the right. I remember when I first discovered Glimmer Mist. My friend Cheryl and I were headed to a weekend crop in New Jersey. We decided to take full advantage of the rental car and visit some local scrap stores in Jersey. One of them had a large display of it. I was intrigued. I bought a few bottles and put them in my crop bag. Well,... Continue »

I've landed back in New York City after just about a week away! There's nothing quite as sweet as coming home, is there? Of course, now the great clean up must begin. Can I admit that I've been so busy for the past month or so that I have just put everything I own in huge piles? Now it's time to pay the piper and clean it all up. Sigh. But lest I start complaining, let me say how very touched I am by all the congratulations that were left on yesterday's post. Thank you for your generosity and support.... Continue »

On Thursday I filmed two new DVDs for Interweave! We filmed in my Mom's kitchen. There were three cameras and lots of fancy lights. Definitely puts my little home made videos to shame. It's always a lot of work to put the videos together -- really, the packing of supplies is nightmarish. But the crew and the overall experience always make it so worthwhile! I was very grateful for the "Look Here" sign. Without it, I'm pretty sure I would have messed up and looked into the wrong camera. I have to confess that even after years of making videos... I just finished a small shop update with some new things I've been working on. I can't believe how fast the year is flying by. I wanted to get in some new items before the Bust show in mid-April. I created a few new card sets including the feathers and arrows, animal constellations and a Peter and the Wolf set that includes all the animals/instruments and their themes that would work well in a music classroom. Feathers and Arrows set of 8 flat cards. Four designs, two of each. Animal Constellation Thank You Cards - set of 8 four of... Continue »
