How exciting. Your jewelry looks really gorgeous, I'm sure it will be very popular with visitors to the gallery. Pity I can't pop in for the acoustic performance but its a bit too far to travel from our side of the pond. All the best with sales and coongratulations. Eli
Big News...
There is big news here in the MacGuyver household...news that I have been holding onto for about a month and a half now...news that I have been on pins and needles waiting to share with you. My jewelry will now be exhibited and available for purchase at one of our local art galleries! Desola...
Hey! What a talent you have. I love the crochet blankets and the colours are so yummy and summery. Its great to see Lucy reincarnated. What a cutie she is. I'm not surprised she found a home straight away. Hope the infection clears up quickly. Try to avoid shouting at the TV when the Grand Prix is on (I usually do). The timing of the Turkish race clashes with footie today so it looks like I'll be watching the F1 on the smaller TV whilst hubby hogs the big one for the England game. Take care. Eli
Bank Holiday, F1, and Crochet
What more could a girl ask for? How about not to be ill? I went up to look after the folks because Father had been ill for over a week and he was really struggling. Mother got the infection four days after he did, so he was trying to look after her whilst feeling ill himself. I had planne...

This collection is adorable, what a wonderful idea. You have such a talent, it is wonderful to be able to use it at this time for such a good cause. Keep up the good work, Eli
Hitty 4 Haiti -- Sneak Peek Part I
This week I have been busy carving a very special Hitty, and though she is only half complete, she has already amassed such a lovely collection of belongings that she is the envy of all the dolls living in Weathertop. This Hitty will eventually be auctioned on ebay to benefit the relief effor...
Hi Oran, thanks for dropping by. I love your versions of my oriental lady, and so very colourful, its great to see other interpretations of my patterns. Thanks for featuring them. I can see you love colour...so important at this time of year. Our current white world is all very pretty but oh so cold and I'm guessing we'll have had enough of it quite soon. By the way, I was interested to read about the particular problem you have with Typepad. I get exactly the same, its infuriating. Kep up the good work and stay warm, Eli
Dolls
Just before th end of last year I discovered this pattern by flutterbypatch and decided to give it a go This was the result I love her to bits so decided to make another one in a different yarn for my other half. I am completely in love with these little dolls. They make pe...
What fabulous fun!...Wishing you all a very happy and healthy New year. Love Eli
Sledding...
First of all, I thought I would give you just a little music to set the mood... Even though it is only 10 degrees outside today, Punch decided to go sledding. The snow was very hard and icy causing him to bump over the surface. At the end of his first run, he lost control a wee ti...
What an amazing costume Punch has, a perfect example of duct tape versatility. I also like the 'bottle-boy' from last year. What fun that one must have been, bet Punch rattled when he moved! Happy Halloween to all. Eli
In which we begin a weekend of frivolity
We've been busy this week and the end of week culminated in migraines and illness for some, but some of us had a little bit of energy left for a little traditional Halloween fun. Mr. MacGyver built this entire samarai costume for Punch out of a flat cardboard box, duct tape and a red sharpie...
Woods are my favourite place to de-stress. What a great place to discover. Punch will love his weekly trips there, but take care on those rocky steps Punch...they can be very slippy.
In which I find a brand new favorite place
Having lived in California for 18 years, I love the ocean. Just look at it, what is not to love? I loved its permanence and its many moods. I can honestly say that during my last 6 years living on the coast, I never took the ocean for granted. I made a point of appreciating its beauty every...
I love this post Erin, it speaks volumes. I think many of us have the same sentimental feelings in thrift stores. Taking a camera is an excellent idea as I'm forever seeing something I want to give a good home to and the chipped and unloved items are top of my list....how pathetic!
In which I have a religious experience in Thriftland
