& I still miss you Laser. I'm trying to stay positive & think of the good times, so I thought I'd share this photo. It's one of my favorites... Taken on Acadia Mountain, in Southwest harbor, Bar Habor Maine, on our hike to the summit. It was a TOUGH hike. Most of it, was just like this picture shows. Boldering up the mountain. As I'm getting ready to let Chief off the leash, I have flashbacks to the adventures I've had with my crew. Thought I'd share this one with you.... The usual morning routine: get up, get coffee a bit of breakfast & then head out to feed the mares. The dogs, all 3 join me in this little adventure. This morning dawned like any other. Alarm goes off, grab a cup of coffee & down to the barn to feed the mares. Little black dog leading the way, Anna still asleep & Chief checking out the yard. Since it was 12 degrees, no one stayed out with me long. Chief was the first to return to the comforts of home, followed by Hope. As I was going about my morning chores, I thought I heard a yelp, coming from the house. I looked up, saw nothing, but heard my neighbors beagle bark. I decided it was him..... I finished... I have a darling woman whom I call 'Mum Mum' that comes to help me with the housework. Picture a grandma & you have Mum Mum. Mum Mum, bless her, is a very kindly soul & does a wonderful job cleaning my home. Often times, cleaning around sleeping dogs (she arrives well before Laser prefers to get up!). Recently Laser decided to show Mum Mum his appreciation for her cleaning efforts. I had run out for a few minutes & left poor Mum Mum alone with 'the pack'.
