I love this tutorial! So clever and beautiful. I'm definitely going to make these. We just need some sunshine now for the perfect excuse for a BBQ!

Check me out! Erin from Thanks, I made it asked me to contribute to my DIY around the world series and the interview went up on her blog today! I know you guys will probably already be religiously following Erin (I know I do), but if not go and do... Continue reading

I'm very much looking forward to this fantastic four day bank holiday weekend. I have big plans to launch my new blog design, start work on my an idea I've had for a DIY jewellery range (some surprises here) spend a little bit of time with the family and hopefully... Continue reading

I've got to admit, I was getting a little jealous of all the amazing rhinestone earring DIYs that I was seeing. Some serious beauts out there! So, now that I have the power of E6000 at my finger tips I thought I'd give one a go myself. I had some... Continue reading

I know I'm late to this party, but how good is E-6000 glue?! I first heard about this glue many years ago when a customer to the bead shop was telling me about how she made a sparkly microphone with rhinestones and a tube of E-6000 and I've been meaning... Continue reading

I cannot seem to keep even the hardiest of plants alive! This is the DIY hanging planter for me... Just need to find some of those faux succulents now :)

I wasn't planning on creating an Easter tutorial. It just wasn't something that inspired me to create. Don't get me wrong, I'm not going to turn down the chocolate eggs anyone throws my way but I have no desire to decorate eggs or decorate with eggs. I genuinely think all... Continue reading

With spring comes this almost primeval urge to clean, sort, organise and start afresh. It's quite telling that as human beings we're constantly trying to start again rather than fix the underlying problems. Sometimes it's easier to abandon the broken than try to fix it, a trait that may have... Continue reading

Porcelain is such an unexpected luxurious material. It's delicate properties secretly contradict it's sturdy, almost stone like aesthetic. It's stark white colouring complements a range of hues and although it's not an obvious jewellery substance it looks as fantastic in this application as it does as traditional tablewear. I'm taking... Continue reading

April Fools! No this is not a real gem stone... lol. Anyway... Precious stones and sparkly gems are going no where in a hurry so I decided to try out another faux crystal jewellery tutorial. Rather than make another DIY pendant necklace I saw an opportunity to make these elegant... Continue reading

That's odd you guys usually have all the good stuff! Can't you get it at the magical store that is Target?

These DIY marble planters are quick, easy and ridiculously cheap to make. I've been hoarding empty food packaging to make concrete vases (alas one day) but it was getting a little too bag lady in my office and I needed somewhere nice to put my one remaining basil. Such a... Continue reading

I can definitely relate to this! Especially now I spend so much time on work and the blog I feel like all my social skills are slipping away. A lot of my friends work late or go out partying a lot so I've been trying to do coffee dates and dinners rather than clubbing (I'm getting a bit old to rave now anyway!) and it's definitely connecting me with different people. I love that you volunteer! It looks like so much fun. I'll have to look into that to see if there's anyone who wants me around here! Great post x

As promised I'm letting you into my secret (or not so secret if you've ever met me) weapon when it comes to organising my time and trying to make the most of every moment. I use this application to coordinate my day job, the blog work and even tasks to... Continue reading

It's been a while since I've added a tassel or two to a project, I was getting fringing withdrawals! So when I was in need of something a little more colourful to brighten up the transition from winter to spring what else could I do? And I have to say... Continue reading

Hey Izzy, I think the best places to get thin plastic in A4 sheets is any stationary store. I can't remember where I found mine. Sorry I cannot be more specific! x
Yes, your bracelet is gorgeous. No messy glue involved either! Ace x
Hello Zubeda! Yes, I've done some research into this. I've used food colouring in this post to dye the concrete but I'm looking at stronger pigments to make more colours. Hopefully more to come on that soon! Thanks for getting in touch! x
