Anthony Lent first and foremost is an internationally-recognized master jeweler trained as a goldsmith in Germany. While there the classical groundwork was laid for the dancing figures, anthropomorphic moons and suns, and interpretations of fabled creatures that are the motifs that have dominated his work. He has taught at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology for thirty-one years, serving as chairman of the Jewelry Department from 1990-2001.
