Another short hop on the train from Malmö to Lund in the Southernmost region of Sweden of Skåne. Lund is a small city, famous for her cathdral , but the surroundings were spoiled by ongoing constructiun work! 4 years ago it was nicer! Inside there was a curious small wooden... Continue reading

After diner, at 'night', I decided to explore the hotel surroundings leading to musuems, for tomorrow's visits. Streets were empty, and those bunnies were quietly munching grass when I surprised them: Malmö has definitly much in common with the Netherland, including windmill! While I was spotting the park from the... Continue reading

We reached Malmö after a very quick hop on the train to cross the Östersund: a narrow strait between southern Sweden tip and the big island where Copenhuaguen lies. Onboard we saw many more offshore wind turbines than sailing boats, and long sandy beaches where I have to go! someday.... Continue reading

On the way back from the Botanical Garden, I was reminded that Copenhaguen is in the European Union, here is the Europe House (Europa Huset in Danish) I kept on admiring the architecture, red bricks and deep blue golden clocks, under gray sky Finally the sun came back in the... Continue reading

As a plant lover I couldn't miss the Botanical Garden, conveniently located within walking reach from the hotel. Unluckily the sun got hidden behind thick dark clouds that afternoon, but ...this pond is not only a romantic sight for lovers, it's also full of life: feathered fishers, Guess who's there... Copenhaguen is an environment friendly place: bicycles are everywhere. btw environment is " miljø"in Danish, can you see it below? And what about those strange UFOs hanging in the middle of the streets sky? They may be usefull lighting during the long winter nights ! I lost myself in this... Continue reading

While visiting Copenhaguen, we slept too late for breakfast, so we made sure to visit a nice lunch place where we had typical Danish sandwiches, like this one with fresh shrimps it was close to our hotel located in this lovely place called Nyhavn (literally New Harbour), but unfortunately crowded...
