I'm new to Netflix, still in my first month. I went through the free trial and liked it so much I stayed on. During the trial I had a 3 day turnaround on EVERY movie, from the day I dropped a movie in the mail to the day I got the next one. I assumed this level of performance would continue. I'm now in my first paid month, and I just got one from Hawaii. That is absolutely nuts. Why the heck is ANYTHING coming from Hawaii?! It may as well be in another country. The movie took 4 days to get here, and presumably 4 days to get back. At that rate, I'd get only 7 movies per month on my 2-at-a-time plan, and that is not economical. I wonder if anyone has tried beating the system by attaching mailing labels to the envelopes to ensure they go to the closest distribution center?
