I love orchids and we used most of mine at my brother Tony & Didi’s wedding for decorations. Somehow most of them were given away to Didi or others. I was okay with that but missed my orchids. One day while working for a client my husband commented on how pretty her orchids were and told her my story. She gave her orchids and this beautiful bowl to him to give to me! It was so sweet of her!!! And it's so PRETTY! So I just HAD to create a page about them! I used one of my favorites (Kreaxions... Continue reading

Hello! Ginni here! I'm sharing a simple page today... These are pictures of my Granddaughter Molly and I in an ice cream and sandwich store called Polar Treats in Ketchikan, Alaska. She saw this hat and wanted it so of course we bought it for her. LOL! I used Kreaxions Punch #917 to create the border. The papers were double-sided so it was easy to use the cut-away pieces for embellishments all over the page. I hope you enjoyed this page! Happy Punching! Continue reading

Hello! Ginni here and today I want to share a quick and easy project with you using some scraps I had left over from another project. I don't know about you, but I just HATE throwing away my extra pieces and leftover punched borders! I have to MAKE myself because I just keep thinking "I'll use them someday." So this is a quick and easy way to use those scraps and create a unique gift or element for your pages! My fellow Design Team Member Colleen and I are on a forum together and she challenged us to use those... Continue reading

Hello there! Ginni here and today I'm going to show you how to use your Kreaxions Circle Cutter as a pencil tool rather than a cutting tool! It's going to be a bit of a long post, but I hope you won't mind! I wanted to draw circles on a card which is quite easy by switching out the blade with the pencil insert. Did you know your Kreaxions Circle Cutter has a secret compartment?! It DOES! On the back side of your Kreaxions Circle Cutter is a little storage compartment where you'll find a couple of pencil inserts, a... Continue reading

Hello! Ginni here and I'm terribly sorry this is late... I hope you'll enjoy the page I'm sharing today! My page is about some pants my mother-in-law sent us unexpectedly that my husband wore when he was little. I used Kreaxions 4-in-1 Punch #909 Polar Sun. First I punched the strips under the photo to create a mat. Then I used the cut-away pieces at the top and bottom of the photo mat to enhance it. Quick, simple and easy embellishment of the page! All of the papers on this page except the background are old scraps and there’s NO... Continue reading

This is a page about my in-laws in June, 1983. I just LOVE the versatility of the Just Imagine/Kreaxions punches!!! And by using the most awesome Circle Cutter EVER made along with the stencils and positioning parts, you can get so many different looks from each and every punch! I like this page because it has a lot of different techniques with lots of scraps and only two punches! I used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter, the Kreaxions Star Template and Kreaxions Punch #912 to create the doily, and Kreaxions #920 for the borders. Then I used cut-away pieces all over... Hello! Ginni here today! This is the last picture of my Dad before he died with my brother Tony and his wife Didi. I made a 6” circle with the Kreaxions Circle Cutter, then drew the lines using Kreaxions Stencil A and punched the edges with Kreaxions Punch #921 with 5.6 cm (small) Positioning Parts. I used the same punch with no template to create the title mat and used the cut-away pieces for the top border. I added some washi tape stripes up and down randomly on the the page. I hope you enjoyed this page! Happy Punching! Continue reading

Hello again! Ginni here with a card using scraps from a 6x6 pad of paper. I used the Kreaxions Star Template and Kreaxions Punch #913 Lily to create the "flower". I outlined everything with a gold pen, then folded it up a bit to give it the dimension. I added a cloth brad for my center. For my background I used 3x3 pieces of paper laid on the card base and drew my stitching with a pen. The "brackets" are leftover from punching the star stencil. I just cut them to fit and outlined them with a gold pen as... Continue reading

Hello! Ginni here again today. I'm sharing a heritage page today. The picture is of my husband's Great-Great Grandfather... I needed a nice mat for the small picture so I created a doily with my Kreaxions products! Doilies are SUPER easy to make with the Kreaxions products and they work with EVERY Kreaxions 4-in-1 punch! To create a doily using your Kreaxions products, first cut a circle with your Kreaxions Circle Cutter just a little bigger than the size you want to end up with. Second, flip your paper over and use either Kreaxions Stencil A (for larger circles) or... Continue reading

Hello! Ginni here today sharing a page about flowers. My Aunt Jean used to send my parents flowers at the nursing home every once in awhile. It cheered them up so much! This was just one of the bouquets she sent... I used double-sided paper and cut a 10” circle with my Kreaxions Circle Cutter. Then I used Stencil A to draw my punch lines and used Kreaxions Punch #309 with Positioning Parts 8 cm and punched on my marks. Then I cut an 8” circle from the punched piece and flipped the paper over for my center. To cover... Continue reading

Hello! Ginni here again! I hope you're having a great beginning to your summer! This picture was actually taken in the fall, but it reminds me of the springtime when the sun comes out and it's just barely warm enough to go out and enjoy the weather. This was one of those days for my Mom, my Dad and my brother Bill. Dad had been in isolation for a month before having gall bladder surgery and was finally able to get out and about. Mom had been in the hospital for a couple of weeks and was finally doing well... Continue reading

Hello there! Ginni here today with a card that celebrates the beginning of Spring! I used Kreaxions Punch #917 for the borders and used all the cut-aways all over the page. The hearts on the flowers are from the punched borders and the bottom border is the cut-away from the top border. I used my brand new Silhouette Cameo to cut the layered flowers and added hearts to them as well, attaching them all together with a brad. Then I outlined everything with a pen. Other Materials – All papers My Mind’s Eye except flowers (Bazzill); Pen – Sharpie I... Continue reading

Hello! Ginni here reminding you that there's still time to make Mother's Day Cards! And today just happens to be my only Granddaughter's 14th birthday too! So I'm sharing two cards today! The first is a Mother's Day card. I used Kreaxions Punch #307 to create the borders on this card. Before I adhered the punched piece to the front of the card, I colored the punched out parts and the edges with a gold pen. Then I added a flower that I just ran a pen over and added a big rhinestone to, wrote my sentiment and outlined it... Continue reading

Hello everyone and welcome to the Just Imagine/Kreaxions Design Team April reveal! Our theme this month is SPRING! We know a lot of people are still getting cold weather and even some snow so we hope our projects get you in that springtime mood! Charity created a very cute card using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter and Kreaxions Punch #917, and Kreaxions Punch #918 Colleen used Kreaxions Punch #906 and created the border under the photo and then glued 2 pieces of the scraps together to create the border at the bottom. Chris used Kreaxions Punch #307 to create the doily... Continue reading

Hi there! Ginni here today with a card to share. I've seen so many cards where someone has layered punched borders and I just LOVE the look but for some reason I was never successful in making it look right - until I made this card!!! Putting the little bit of space in between was just what I needed to do! I have a friend who’s going through some serious health issues that’s been ongoing for over a year and I wanted to cheer her up a bit. So I found some scraps and a couple of fun punches and... Hi there! Ginni here with a different way to use the Kreaxions Circle Cutter! I had great fun making this page! I combined a sketch by our very own DT Leader Bev Code for the Turtle Soup forum (which is having a March Sketchathon) with a challenge on the Memorable Seasons forum to make a “coffee ring” look on your page. I immediately thought of the Kreaxions Circle Cutter using the pencil insert instead of the blade! So I “drew” my circles using the pencil and the little plastic piece that is also included with the Circle Cutter to cut... Continue reading
I wanted to do something different and had done a technique similar to this in a class MANY years ago so I thought I’d play around. I’m truly branching out of my box on this one! First I took a pre-made chipboard butterfly and painted it with Ranger paint dauber on both sides. Then I cut out a piece of patterned paper and a piece of clear transparency to the shape of the chipboard. I covered the painted chipboard with Mod Podge and then added the patterned paper on top of that. While that dried, I took Kreaxions Punch #901... Continue reading

It's almost the end of February already! Time seems to just be FLYING by! Hi! It's Ginni again today sharing a card I made with the Kreaxions Star Stencil. I used all scraps to create this card! The border is created using Kreaxions Punch #915. I used the Kreaxions Star Stencil and Kreaxions Punch #915 to create the doily. Then I placed a cardstock circle (made with the FABULOUS Kreaxions Circle Cutter) behind it and a brad and matching die cut on top. The corner pieces are cut-aways from the doily. Materials – Cardstock – Bazzill; Patterned Papers – Basic... Continue reading

Hi there! Ginni here with a page showcasing a picture of my beautiful daughter Michele all dressed up last summer. I used a sketch by our Team Leader, Bev Code. To create the center border I used Kreaxions Punch #917. Then on the corners I used the same punch with Template B on the picture and with Template C on the mat. I also used the Pavilia Bloom Outline by Memory Box die (purchased in the Just Imagine Store) to create the flowers. Finally I used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter to create a double mat for the metal flower brad... Continue reading

Hello there! Ginni here today with a layout I lifted by Paula J at the Turtle Soup Forum. This is a picture of my Grandson Robert in 2013. I used some 6x6 papers and Kreaxions Punch #902 to create the mat for the picture. The other border was created with Kreaxions Punch #913 and no template except on the corners where I used Template C. Then I used cut-away pieces all over the page. I added some bling and Stickles to enhance the punched areas and cut a circle (using the AMAZING Kreaxions Circle Cutter) in half to create the... Continue reading

Hello! Ginni here. The holiday season is over. I always hate it when all the lights are taken down because everything looks so drab. :( So I thought I would share just one more holiday card. My husband and I have a lot of friends who are of the Jewish faith. So at holiday time I try hard to come up with something that celebrates their faith rather than just being something generic. One day I was playing with my star template and I realized it would make a FABULOUS Star of David! It was SUPER simple! I just cut... Continue reading

Hello! Ginni here with a fun way to decorate your pages using the Kreaxions Circle Cutter and the Kreaxions Positioning Parts. This is a present we got from one of my husband’s brothers last year for Christmas. It was the most delicious cheesecake EVER! I used the Kreaxions Circle Cutter, Kreaxions Punch #915 with Kreaxions Positioning Parts (small 5.6 cm) to create the punched circle. The inner circle is 6” and I used Stencil A to draw the lines to know where to punch. Then I used the cut-away pieces on the photo corners. I added bling and outlined with... Continue reading

Tis the Season to be Jolly! Hi there! This is Ginni with a page about my Daughter and my Grandsons Noah and Garrett on Christmas Day last year. If you did our recent blog hop you'll remember seeing Charity's bowl of flowers. Here's the link to her blog post - Accordion Flowers. I used her tutorial to create the “flowers”. I was able to achieve perfect lines by using Kreaxions Stencil A to draw them, the MOST AWESOME Kreaxions Circle Cutter to cut the circles, and then used my bone folder on my trimmer to score them. Once I had... Continue reading

Hello! Ginni here today with pics of my brother and new sister-in-law who came down to our town in South Florida to have a beach wedding. We had SO much FUN! And the weather was perfect until just before we were ready to clean up and leave... Then the skies opened up with a typical Florida thunderstorm that lasted only about 20 minutes. These pictures were taken just before the storm. (You can see the clouds in the background!) They're holding the sign I made them for their wedding using my Cricut. I created the borders with Kreaxions Punch #310.... Continue reading
