Oscar's drawings are beautiful! Definitely frame-worthy. I have that same bag as my diaper bag and love it. I loved how blank it was but still haven't gotten around to jazzing it up. Oscar has inspired me! And Keds would look awesome with his Dot-a-dot style.

Your Ghoul Bus book is in there too Jannie! It's just upside-down. :)

Thanks everyone! And YES, that bookcase is bolted to the studs - no toppling. I think those IKEA flatfiles are genius. There are 2 in my office. I only wish the drawers locked now that I have a toddler. I may create a strap with velcro around the whole thing, but really the whole office is very precarious for a child. I had to restrain myself with color and I'm so glad I did. The white lets the art and photos pop, while keeping it neutral and soothing. My favorite things are those photo frames with hankie mats. I may have to return to Brimfield this year to get more!

Congratulations! It's a stunning book, and you've waited so ling for it's release. I can't wait to own this and see your beautiful paintings up close.
I'd love to think that how this has played out so publicly scares those companies that think they can get away with copyright infringement!

That looks heavenly Rozzie. Not just to use, but to get me out of so many massages for the hubby. ;)

Gorgeous babes, lovely dreamy photos as always - a joy to see things through your eyes. :)
Congratulations, I can't wait to get your turtle book and read it with my son. Check out Lotta Jansdotter's simple sewing for baby - I have the barest sewing skills and I've created lots of fun things with ease.
I just noticed how nice this piece looks with my blog's new fall color scheme, bonus!

Haha - glad you saw this Jannie. He really does like your book. Kid-approved! It's fun to read aloud too.

Yes. Much like her skin, onion-head girl's skirt is a little transparent. ;)

Ann Marie - I have that book as well. I should check it out again sometime! Thanks ladies, I think he's pretty cute too. It's amazing how quickly they grow and learn. I do hope he's a lifelong reader like his mama. He has his first bookshelf in his room and everything. :)

I've had shoulder tendonitis for about 10 years now. Ever since a short assignment with long hours of bad body mechanics at a computer. It comes and goes, chiropractor and fancy treatments help but it will always be there I think. Lugging a 20lb baby around has brought it back (duh). Good advice from all about stretching. Make sure your desk setup is good. Try putting stretching posters on the wall in front of you as a reminder. If I can find mine I'll email them to you (I know, I should have them up on my wall too - never put them back when I switched studios). If you tolerate aleve, that's helped me in a pinch for short stints. Good luck with your deadlines (and pain!).

Peaceful and beautiful wee one. Congrats again. Poor Isabelle - I'm sure she'll get on board soon enough with the little guy (and sharing mama's attention).
