I enjoyed your comment on the Newsweek article. I particularly enjoyed the follow up post you have here. My general thought is So much wisdom comes from centuries of practice in the nurturing arts (psychology and the wisdom tradition from philosophy, religion, mysticism). Neuroscience identifies and enhances the truly valuable stories of wisdom, and directly challenges and diminishes the elements are flighty and worthless.
