That's my cup and gloves on the table behind the bike. It's amazing how much better the sunshine makes me feel.
Your a good egg.
Drip, drip, drip
I got the bright idea to do something useful today. So I grabbed the shovel and walked up to the nearest cross street to do what I could about the ice on the road. I scraped and shoveled until I was way too tired to do any more. I made it a little better, but it's a small road, and a small i...
LOVE the dog photos.
Snowpocalypse 1/10/2011
We got a lot of snow dumped on us last night and this morning. Some liked it: HOVERDOG! Others, not so much: Bouncer doesn't like the cold feet and uncertain footing. We took the obligatory walk in the snow, with a picture. My cowl is, of course, handknit. The hat that's almost in my ey...

He decided to tough it out at Krogers since all the stores were going to be like that. Local news was showing a grocery store about half out of all of their milk before lunchtime yesterday. Atlantans get crazy when there is talk of snow.
Frosty the Snowman
The Man and I were a bit out of the loop. I'd come home Friday with the raging head cold that has been going around here for over a month. That'll teach me to get all cocky about not getting it after 6 co-workers and The Man all bit the dust with it. He and the blasted head cold was why I w...
I'm liking the View from a Bike series.

This is on one of my regular routes. It's pretty even when the day is grey.
What a delightful photo of you! Love the sparkle in your eyes and the dusting of freckles. May 2011 be a wonderful year for you.
Trees in snow
We had snow the night of Christmas. First time in GA since 1886, or something like that. I rode my bike 17 miles today. It was chilly, but the roads were clear.
Great story!
Coco Chanel and the Baby Who Pooped
Chelsea was six weeks old when French Husband came home with a pair of tickets for a Chanel fashion show. A friend from work had given him the tickets since he couldn't go. Coco Channel photo source Chanel. My excitment was instantly tamed when French Husband announced that the show ...
No,no, no. I'm staying put.

It's Started.
Christmas time that is. First we went to the Santaland Diaries and laughed at it's wicked, wicked humor. Then there was the Christmas Tree Hunt. and of course the traditional Poinsettia was gotten too. ...
That is going to look great.
just like candy
Last night I rifled through a bunch of available fabric--because the bulk of my fabric is unavailable after Elsa goes to sleep since it's tucked inside the closet in the nursery--pulled a few things together, but then couldn't decide on a pattern. Wracked my brain, even. Sheesh. You see, I'v...
Did I ever tell you that I wanted to be a Mermaid when I grew up? Must have swam miles with my legs tightly together trying to will them into turning into a tail.
Mind you I spent the early part of my years in Tampa and Destin area since the rest of my family is from Tampa. My aunt and possible my Mom told me of Weeki Wachee and that I could be a Mermaid there. Wasn't the same since they have air hoses to breath from.
she sells seashells by the seashore
Last week Ian and I took a day off to travel to Gatlinburg. The Weeki Wachee mermaids were performing at Ripley's Aquarium. I've wanted to see them ever since we drove over to Weeki Wachee Springs and found the attraction closed--it was fall and they're not open everyday off-season; just wee...
