Jeff and I went to see the movie Elizabethtown last night. It's the movie with Orlando Bloom and Kirstin Dunst. It was a really cute film. Orlando Bloom's character Drew has a series of bad things happen in his life.... Continue reading

I am not certain why Jeff and I chose to hike the West Coast Trail or why we attempted such an adventure. Jeff had been hiking for years, and was in good physical shape. Me on the other hand had... Continue reading

As a guide this year, we are primarily using Oak Meadow's Kindergarten Curriculum. What I love most about the Oak Meadow curriculum is that is it based on a natural daily and weekly rhythm. Each day the child knows what... Continue reading

Hey I didn't take offense LOL! We try to simplify the gift giving to limiting gifts to 3 per child. Ian was so excited about the marble run! He saw the one that Annie's kids were playing with on her blog and has never forgotten it. It was his big gift as was Claire's stroller. We try to give a book and something else small too. This year I made quite a few presents for family. Lots of stockings, PJ pants, table runners, etc. Next year the making is definitely going to start earlier in the year and our activities will be narrowed down to just a few. Hope you had a great Christmas! Will you be updating the blog soon?

I love your side table/board for displaying your children's toys! I have been looking for something similar for awhile now for the same purpose. I love the compartments. Is it handmade?
