New corners of my home and a book loving baby!
Happy New Year to you and your family Amanda!
Happy New Year!
"And now let us welcome the new year. Full of things that have never been." - Rainer Maria Rilke Happy New Year everyone! I have noticed that many others around the blogosphere have been posting year end reviews. Since last year was a year that bought our famil...
Hey I didn't take offense LOL! We try to simplify the gift giving to limiting gifts to 3 per child. Ian was so excited about the marble run! He saw the one that Annie's kids were playing with on her blog and has never forgotten it. It was his big gift as was Claire's stroller. We try to give a book and something else small too. This year I made quite a few presents for family. Lots of stockings, PJ pants, table runners, etc. Next year the making is definitely going to start earlier in the year and our activities will be narrowed down to just a few. Hope you had a great Christmas! Will you be updating the blog soon?
Home for the Holidays
The weeks leading up to Christmas were very full and busy for us. They were spent finishing up Ian's playchool, mandatory Christmas parties, making handmade gifts etc. In all honesty, December felt stressful and flew by so fast that it seemed like Christmas Eve just fell upon my lap one day. Do...
Oh my! What an amazing idea! I'm in!
A Year of Good Things
This project was completely inspired by a young friend of mine. I have certainly been humbled by the spirit of this 15 year old girl, always looking at life as a glass half full. Just before New Years 2011 she emailed friends & family with the following request, to record a year of good things. ...

It has been six months since I wrote my last blog post and since then a lot has happened in our lives. I debated whether to share my story, but I think it is one that needs to be heard and one that I need to tell. One thing that most of you don't know is that I was pregnant and on September 6th...
