04/03/2009 Braking News The in International Criminal Court in The Hague the Netherlands has just issued an international arrest warrant against the Sudanese president. From now on people will no more hide behind their presidential functions to commit crime against humanity!!!
Having leaved in Ghana for over 2 years I know many I mean many Cameroonians who are living there without papers. The Cameroonian authorities might want to send someone to the Maritime Academy in Accra and see how many Cameroonians they will find there and many without papers!! Remember that most of our seamen are trained there. What will happen if Ghana decides to do same to our brothers in Ghana? I have always ask myself why Cameroon will be having diplomatic links with countries as far as Asia and not with its African neighbours. There is n Cameroon diplomatic mission in Accra which will explain why there is no Ghanaian one in Yaounde. The 2 countries stand to benefit from creating these bodies.
Be it under Mr Ahijo or Biya, the truth is that most francophones think that they hold the key of truth as to what is good for Cameroon. Any ideas from Anglos as they are called is seen to be coming from a bunch of fools. Well if there was no 1st October 1961 how come we started talking of a united Cameroon. If we really wanted to change everything and make sure it does not appear as if Cameroon had ever been separated in the past why did we have to use the name LA REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN knowing very well that it was the name of the former East Cameroon. I do not think Cameroon should be having problems because some citizens feel dejected. The issue merits discursion at a high level and solutions need to be found before things get worst. We have seen the SCNC partisans arrested in numbers each year but they keep going. If we do not find a solution, maybe most Anglos will have to be arrested and jailed to satisfy those who hold the key to truth in Cameroon. It does not pay to always say Anglos have no problem. We should solve the problem.
Hello fellow Cameroonians. Where does the history of Cameroon start? 1st October is now nothing to everybody because we think Cameroon belongs only to those of us who are alive today. What if tomorrow our children wipe out all our 20th May and the rest. I have not seen any country in the world where history is neglected like in Cameroon. While not necessarily supporting the SCNC, some of us of the English expression feel dejected because everything has been done in Cameroon today to wipe out anything that had to do with the history of West Cameroon. We are just expected to accept anything that people who value the happenings in former East Cameroon think is good for us, and they keep telling us to shut our mouths because we have no problem. If you have a wound on your leg are you the person to tell how painful it is or will someone tell you that he is the one to say how painful it is? What type of brotherhood is this between Cameroonians? I think this problem needs to be discussed and solved and it is not in the interest of Cameroon to be arresting the SCNC partisans each year.
It is frightening and shocking to see how bandits can operate in Cameroon at will. I am sure that our uniform men will have ran there to kill if this was armless students or citizens asking for their rights. It is a shame and something needs to be done to secure Cameroon and Cameroonians. It does not suffice to blame banks and their security. If there was a resistance from our forces, these people will not have succeeded. How can people operate in a town like Limbe for over 2 hours and there is no intervention from our forces. They must have all been busy blocking the road for their daily contribution from drivers. Oh God help Cameroon
Just been informed from Cameroon that some banks were attacked in Limbe and large sums of money stolen. We will have details

For those of you who can read French, read this interview in Le Messager given by the outgoing Netherlands Ambassador Norbert Braakhuis. What an objective analysis of the mess we are in. I will advice all forum members to read the interview covering all aspects in Cameroon http://www.lemessager.net/ http://www.camerounlink.net/fr/news.php?nid=40296 the second link has possibility to translate (computer translated) into some poor readable English. We have a lot to learn there before coming back to argue (sometimes blindly) in support of the mess in Cameroon I think the issues highlighted there are some of the things that make people from former Southern Cameroon frustrated and want to review the union

It is good to see that the chiefs are waking up and asking for development in these rich but isolated parts of the country. I was always shocked to hear them force people to vote 100% to the regime, anybody who did not agree with them was termed a came no go or whatsoever. I hope the change is for good and henceforth people who are asking for rights and development will not be seen as outsiders, It is a pity that all the motions of support and 100% to the regime only made the South West one of the poorest province in Cameroon. What a paradox view the resources of this province and its contribution to all the money that is being chopped through corruption. Please God help save this country.
Is it a chief in the Francophone sense or a Fon as we call them in the North West? Well if it is a Fon, I do not see how the SDO can “appoint” one. They are make and dethroned by the quifor or Ngumba and the administration confirms.. Cameroon is becoming one of those countries where the culture of the Whiteman is seen to be better than our “primitive” ones. Please leave our culture alone.
Every arrest just makes one angrier. A few years ago we were told that there was no prove of corruption in Cameroon (and the government was expecting opposition parties to gather prove), and today it is just clear that almost everybody in government is rotten. The president should declare that his government has failed to take care of Cameroon/Cameroonians, and take necessary measures. Chaque arrestation me rend juste plus fâché.

It is interesting to know that all Cameroonians Anglophones and Francophones are equally touched and having the same plans. TO KILL THOSE CAUSING SUFFERING TO CAMEROONIANS!! I hope those in power are thinking twice. Please read this Francophone forum i.e. if you can read French. Some comments are in English http://www.bonaberi.com/artdist.php?aid=4082

Hello Emperor Paul B. I think you must be drinking Champaign now. However, I have a question for you and you’re MPs (who represented us???). Will your immunity (in Cameroon which can be changed by the next president) be also covered in the International Court of Justice? Maybe you should go to Den Hag and pass a new law to immunize you. I guess you are making a big mistake. Do not think that you can do whatever you want and go free. I feel so much pity for you and your family especially after your Emperorship ends. Re member that Bokassa could not last long after being crowned Almighty Emperor of RCA. Idi Amin Dada of Uganda also ended up badly. Think twice.

Cameroonians have pass through a period of serious brainwashing since independence. I can imagine that most Cameroonians of below 30 years cannot know the truth about our country because previous governments have brainwashed the citizens to a point where most citizens think that those in power (especially the Head of Sate) are infallible and should be there forever. Before Biya, Amadou Ahijo through an efficient brainwashing machine made Cameroonians to believe that Cameroon will cease to exist after him. Anybody above 40 can remember all the motions of supports and street demonstrations that were organised by those in power (M Biya included) to call for the ‘Grande Cammarade’ to continue ruling. We are seeing the same scenario now with Mr Biya. Everybody (including those who pretend to ‘love’ him very much) knows that the country will be far better with a presidential system that limits the mandate of the president and offers chances for alternative ideas even if the president was a Saint, but his die hard supporters are prepared to see his weakness and faults after him like he did for his Godfather Ahijo. CPDM militants should stop giving Cameroonians the CNU impression that Cameroon will end after a president be it Mr. Biya or whosoever. Although Amadou Ahijo was equally egoistic, if he did not prepare Mr. Biya to succeed him (and brainwashed us to accept him) how could the CNU-CPDM have had Mr. Biya as head of state? CPDM militants should concentrate on seeing how Cameroon can forge ahead with or without Mr. Biya and stop making a fool of Cameroonians. Today they say Parliamentarians can change the constitution because they represent the people, maybe tomorrow parliamentarians will be the ones to vote the president for the same reason. Before its adoption, there were vigorous arguments (by the same CPDM-CNU) on how useful and exact the present constitution was and no suggestions were welcome from those who were then seen to be non Cameroonians ‘strangers in the house’ to quote Ema Basil former Government Delegate to the Yaounde Urban Council. Why will CPDM suddenly want us to listen to their clamour for constitutional amendment today even though all it articles have not been put to test? Please give us a brake and do not push this beautiful country to war with your egoism.
Although it will be nice to have a life president in Cameroon (if the people so wish), I thing that CPDM militants should stop giving the impression that Cameroon will end after president Biya. If late president Ahijo did not prepare Mr. Biya to succeed him how could the CNU-CPDM have had Mr. Biya as head of state? Why will you want us to listen to you today? Please give us a brake and do not push this beautiful country to war with your egoism. Ah Mon Dieu.
God help save Cameroon from these wicket people. It is clear from all the stories we are getting that those at the top panicked to see that the poor could venture to say NO to their shit. My question is. How on earth can anybody use arms meant to defend the Cameroonians to kill the citizens instead? To those in power, you might be fooled to think that you are very powerful (because you have guns) but please remember that you will one day answer for the acts you commit today (where did Ahijo, Mumbutu, Idi Amin, Samuel Doe etc. end?). THAT ALWAYS HAPPENS!!!!, and when it does, you should not start asking for forgiveness. Cameroon DOES not belong to you and you alone so stop pretending that you love Cameroon more than other Cameroonians. Dear GOD please help Cameroon before greedy people destroy it.

Those who did not see this happening in Cameroon must be blind. The Government should remember what happened in Kenya and know that it can also happen in Cameroon. You can fool some people all the time but you cannot fool all the people all the time. Oh please God help Cameroon!!.
