Well said. I can't quite make up my mind on statues -- sometimes I think one thing, and sometimes another, but every Sunday we read that "The face of the Lord is against evildoers; to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth" and then I think perhaps they should go. But I'm an evildoer too, and perhaps at my funeral they'll sing "Memory eternal".
