What work is the personally possible/securable distinction doing in the safe-opening case? I can see why you might deploy it in the case of really complicated intentions like Great American Novels or chess games. (Ultimately, however, I think you don’t need to.) But dialing safe combinations (or winning lottery numbers) is pretty easy. Why don’t you just say that you are objectively required to dial 205-513-9437 but subjectively permitted not to?
