It is estimated that up to 50% of the human population suffers from HPV infection during their lives. This virus is transmitted through contact with the epidermis, which causes the formation of so-called warts or warts of the feet, or sexual intercourse in sexually active persons. In some cases, infection with the genital virus typical of reproductive organs may occur, for example, during labor, where the mother infects the child with the virus. In many people, HPV is in the latency phase, in other words it does not reveal itself, and thanks to the immune system, the infection disappears spontaneously. In cases of people showing symptoms of immunosuppression, i.e. weakening of immunity, there may be a chronic infection of HPV and subsequent to the formation of tumors.
