Thanks to my inspiring oldest daughter, I've been evaluating my current cooking methods in an effort to go skinnier. I was craving eggplant parmesan tonight and decided to change up my cooking method. I wouldn't say this is an ultimate diet food however, if you are going to splurge, you... Continue reading

My friend recommended this for me and at first glance I really wasn't that thrilled. I decided to try it and wow, wow, wow! This will definitely be one of my regular makes! This would also be a good subsitute for chicken noodle for the occasional cold / flu visitations.... Continue reading

You are just going to have to trust me on this one. This pudding is as good, as creamy, as chocolaty as any dairy based pudding. Maybe even more so because the true flavor of the chocolate comes through clean and clear. I love it. 1 package silken tofu like... Continue reading

I know this is the most unhealthy dish ever and pretty much contains no nutritional value what-so-ever. But I like it. It is also the most frequently requested dish from the family, especially on a chilly weekend morning. This is the same biscuit recipe from my grandmother who no doubt... Continue reading

Ahhhh, that is the question isn't it? This food blog of mine doesn't really have a theme unless you count eclectic, spontaneous and random as a theme. I guess the only real theme is 'me cooking'. As to what I'm cooking, well, that is were it gets random. I generally... Continue reading

Another meal, another funny start to the day. Yesterday I woke up at 5am, stumbled to the bathroom and without bothering to turn on the light, had a seat. Unfortunately I did not notice that the water in the toilet bowl was all the way up to the lip, not... Continue reading

I sometimes wonder if the events of the day somehow shape the decisions I make as to what to cook each night. Rarely I plan ahead, I keep a full pantry and refrigerator so my chances of having all the ingredients I need for my inspirations is high. The morning... Continue reading

Kate - Guys are complicated creatures. Some of them are like fishermen...they throw out the bait wheather or not they intend to take home any fish they catch. Others are arrogant assholes and don't flirt with anyone unless they plan on taking them home. Some of them flirt just to see if they've still got it. Some of them flirt because they can't help it..shoot they even flirt with other men (that would be my husband, he flirts with everyone). Some flirt because they are too shy to ask you out and are hoping you pick up on their interest so you will ask them out. Really, there is no real answer to the man thing. BUT, I do think your future townhome is in Yucaipa, CA.
