Wow your card is stunning. I love the vibrant look.
So happy to hear you are happy. It looks to me as if your mom is doing very well right where she needs to be. I can relate in some small way. My own mom is 83 and while she's still pretty much able to take care of herself there are many many things that she depends on me to do for her and sometimes I feel some of the same feelings you've expressed.
Distressed Alcohol Markers Technique and an Update
I had an idea to combine Copic markers with Ranger Distress ink and posted it when I was the Flourishes' Limelight Designer over here. Beate Johns (supah star) from Splitcoast saw it and asked me to do a tutorial for SCS. So the pressure was on. I try to avoid pressure situations when it co...
Fabulous! Love everything about this one.

I'm having trouble commenting so if duplicates are there I apologize.
Wow, I really do like the new packaging. Anything that saves spaces and keeps me organized is okay in my book. It would be a real thrill to win free stamps for a year. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Your Special Day
Welcome! I've been buzzing away on some Papertrey Ink release projects for this month, as well as CHA projects. January is such a busy month--I could really use a "break month" between December and January--you too? :-} Remember last month's Rosie Posie set? I love that one! Today I have a s...
As always your projects are stunning.

Viva la Verve...week 3 Sketch!
You know, I've actually had this card done for Verve's Week 3 challenge for a couple of weeks now, but finding the time to get a blog post done has proven a challenge. Somedays I just can't seem to get my stuff together. Today, I was able to finish the last two cards...and complete the chal...
Very pretty. Love your colors and how elegant this turned out. Awesome punch too. Hope you had a fun time at the Rodeo.
Just Because...More Viva la Verve!
Surprisingly, I found time before leaving for camping/rodeo to schedule a post! Here is my Week 2 card for May's Viva la Verve challenge. It's my favorite so far, but there are two more to go...I see they just posted this week's sketch and it's so awesome I think I'll be designing it at the ...
Oh how cute and fun! Love the Whimsical feel of this card. Great use of the color purple.
JUST BECAUSE {tcptues159}
Hey there stampers! Have you noticed that PURPLE. IS. IN. I'm not really a big purple kinda gal but I've been feeling a bit under the weather this week (allergies) and I think the purple in some of my new MME Lime Twist papers cheered me up a bit. I mean, where else would you find a navy skun...
I'm "Smiling"! - What a cute card. Love the fun touches like the pom-pom ribbon, glossy accents, glitter.
A Very Perky Plant...

HEY THERE SCOOTER
Here's the last of the kid oriented cards that I needed to get done. Once again, using fun stamps from PAPER SMOOCHES. The scooter is in the SPIFFY SCOOTERS set and the sentiment is from the SENTIMENT SAMPLER set. I based my card layout on this week's MOJO MONDAY #190 sketch. The patterned...
Yum! - This is so lovely. Love the bright bold colors and the beautiful butterfly and pearl flourish just set this off so nicely.
Make a Wish
I had some pretty paper calling out to me last night. Because the paper was so bold and graphic, I knew that I needed a strong, graphic stamp to help pull it off right--enter Papertrey Ink's Think Big Favorites #1. A clean, graphic sentiment needed a clean focal image too. I chose to layer ...
What a wonderfully cheerful card.
Congrats on the ipod (I don't own one) but I do love music.
I got an i-Pod...and a card to share!
Well, I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! I did...I got an i-Pod! Not a fancy one...not even a "touch"...just a little pink shuffle. But I'm thrilled with it. I can't believe I waited so long to ask for one...or get one for myself. You know, back in 2007, I was taking some class...
Oh my gosh this one is CUTE!!!
Love the patterned paper (did you use an embossing folder on the swirled portion?) - Such a fun card.
Hang in There...
Good morning! Things have been busy around here as the kids are wrapping up the school year (which means that mom is busy helping them...LOL!). I thought I should stop in here and give you something new to look at though.. :-) Okay...it does not get any cuter than Paper Smooches Hang Ups s...

So sorry to hear of your families loss of a loved one. Hugs and Prayers.
PAPER SMOOCHES - CARDS FOR KIDS
I am crazy for the PAPER SMOOOCHES stamp images. They just make me happy. They're fun and quirky with plenty of room for coloring and I love that. They're also perfect for kids and that's why I chose them for some important cards that I've worked on this week. On the day before Easter the you...
Aw he's gorgeous! I just love Eskie's and miss our sweet Rebel but of course we have little Cricket now (a Black Pug) to love.
Thanks for sharing your wonderful pictures of Bear.
The Bear . . .
I haven't shared any pics here of Bear lately--I know some of you have seen them on Facebook, but not everybody is on Facebook, so I thought I'd share these photos I took last weekend of Bear playing in the yard while my son Taylor and the Mr. played basketball in the driveway. Just for a spli...

TCP TUESDAY #156 (inspiration) & #157 (technique)
BACK.TO.BUSINESS! I'm slowly getting myself back to normal after a wonderful week in sunny Florida. We're lucky that we have family in St. Pete and we go there each year for Spring break. (I took the photo above at Pass-a-grille - one of our favorite places to go and eat breakfast - using t...

First Day of Spring!
Hi Stampers, It's the first day of Spring and the daffodils are blooming here in KY! I have a bunch of cards to share that we have made at our classes recently. The first is one of my favorite cards - I think it speaks Spring and Easter in every way. I got the idea from Jackie Topa - who sha...
