I miss the movie so much, I started looking for news about the re-release on the net. I have the DVD copy, but it cannot match the movie theater's screen.

I miss watching the movie on the 'big screen', too. I cannot wait for the re-release, hope it is not just gossip.

There is a need for a Sequel, clearly. Cameron has left many things unexplained in Avatar, especially about Eywa, and the living network that seems to rule the planet. Pandora is an amazing world, and I would like to know details about it, and about whatever is under the bioluminiscent forest. Would you not, guys?

You're right, and IT"S REAL. It's the best movie I have ever seen, and I am a Sci-Fi fan, and I think that I have seenand read the best of the genra. But nothing to compare Avatar with. They may say that the plot is common, it's a crock, that it's the Dancing with the Wolves in a Cameronin vision, that it is racist, leftist, etc. They don't know what they are talking about. Since we are all humans here, of course the movie has a love story, and an epic battle as well. To well used themes in cinematography? So what? Avatar still has the novelty of a brand new world, of fantastic and beautiful alien creatures, and of wonderful and real technology. The Computer Generated Images (GCI) and the other new inventions Cameron uses -like the virtual camera, and the fusion camera system, for example, are groundbreaking. Cameron forced the cinema technology to jump a few decades forward, for sure. He dared what nobody dared before, maybe not even dreamed of: to make the computer a big part of an entire movie. Avatar racial? Let us be serious. It's the least racial Sci-Fi movie I've ever watched. Of course, being a Sci-Fi means being different, and that's waht Avatar is all about: a different ,fantastic, imaginarty, still incredibly beautiful world.
