I agree Sully, I think Gonzalez is a very good player but in the Red Sox roster I just can't see him fitting in with a first baseman as good as Youk and a hot DH like Ortiz.

Here are a few guys I would like to see the Red Sox go after to bolster the outfield and would make sense for the team: Carlos Lee- He is hitting .205 with 5hrs and 20 RBI, could be a solid right handed hitting outfielder that could play left field and give them some power. Houston is going to ...
The best player in this discussion is McCutchen, and he is also the least likely for the Sox to get. I would go for Carlos Lee because just last year he was batting in the 300's with 20 plus homers, so maybe he can get hot, plus, he would be easier to obtain than McCutchen and Jones becuase they are both young talent. However, there is no one really worthwhile out their for outfielders right now so I think the Sox should lay low.
