Er, hang on. I absolutely agree that being in work must be financially preferable to being on a sofa on benefits, but 'ensuring work pays for everyone'? Is this a call for a higher minimum wage? Apologies if I'm grasping the wrong end of the stick here, but I don't see how government can make sure everyone gets a lovely wage without damaging the economy/ increasing unemployment (beyond general education and training). It can, however, reduce benefits. What exactly do you mean?

An interesting point Stephan. I find it hard to believe Labour would be going with such a far-out campaign simply because they're up against the ideas wall. As everyone's been saying (well, everyone I like), if class is the best thing Labour can come up with then they're in serious trouble.
