Hi Janet, I just want to say that I appreciate you providing this explanation and making this apology. As you said, "this apology is not an invitation for discussion or debate" so I'll just leave it at that. Best, James

I used pen & ink to do the beginning line drawings for the cards. Then I scanned them into my computer and used software ( to color the images. Thank you; I especially appreciate a complement from you considering the beauty of your own work. Glad you'll be at RS10... It'll be great to see you again. The greater length of the RS makes it better for "networking" than LATS and BATS. PS: Let me know if you'd like to exchange Blogroll links.
Hi Joanna, What a great video. Thanks for sharing your process. It's interesting to compare how you created your deck with how I created my Tarot of the Masters. Years ago, I made a small Majors only deck using colored pencils, and I considered using them again for my Tarot of the Masters. There are definitely pros and cons to doing that, as you've indicated. Your use of colored pencils has resulted in a wonderful set of images, but I don't think I would have had the patience to spend 8 years on a deck. I'm very impressed with your tenacity as well as your artistic brilliance. Best of luck with the deck. I wish I could afford a collector's edition, but I'm going to have to settle for Llewellyn's instead. PS: Will you be at RS10? is now following The Typepad Team
