Not a fan of the uniform I am afraid...
This year, the girls have to wear a uniform and for a mama-sewer and jojo-knitter (their grandmother), it's been kind of boring... I really miss seeing colours on them. Oh, well, we won't be here forever. In the meantime, they wear as much color as possible on weekends;-) - Red cardigan ...

Fabric Ornaments
Save your tiniest pieces of fabric and have some fun making these ornaments! The girls loved this easy project. It can be a bit messy and requires a decent amount of glue (we used Mod Podge)... What you need: - Fabric Scraps - Glue - Brush - Styrofoam balls

Number 5 is a bit bigger (12 inches wide)... the smaller ones were 6 inches. This one is not matchy-matchy, there is a little bit of dark fabric in there and I like it very much!

Lily seems to have grown quite a bit this summer and most of her clothes were moved to her sister's drawer... Lily being a very careful and pretty much stain-free little girl;-), Manon is quite pleased with her "new" wardrobe... and so we went shopping to Zara and here is what we came home with....

I have seen so much Liberty this year that it is a wonder to me that I have not overdosed. In fact, I think I will never ever get tired of it because it represents so many beautiful things and it evoques so many childhood memories, my mom's wedding, the 70s, my children's first years, etc, etc. ...
