I'm so glad Eric will be one of your authors! He gives great powerpoint. (Perhaps Mr. X knew this and retreated in rightful fear!!)

You have your sox glued on? I'm bringing the hose and a bottle of clorox to our next drinks date. Seriously, this sounds amazing!

Funny you should write about this! I made space in my office for a bar. No more drinking from the bottle stashed in the bottom drawer, scrambling for glassware in the breakroom. Yea baby!

I also love movies and my dad sends me "movie money" every Christmas. I send him the ticket stubs and ..ahem... commentary. I've been besotted with NetFlix instant watch lately and just saw Gone Baby Gone for the second time. It's one of the most beautifully visual movies I've ever seen. Doesn't hurt that it's based on a Dennis Lehane novel of course, but for me, the photography is what made this movie a standout. And welcome to the Dead Guy blog Alison!

It is a terrific book! And it's no small thanks to your angel kisses editing that it is so. See, I don't have to really DO any of the work. I just know the right people. And boy oh boy, you were EXACTLY the right person for this book.

one of my great regrets was being offered a job at the library and saying no to take one that paid better (and that I hated!) I should have taken the library job and eaten rice and beans.
